I started my career in the classroom, where I built a strong foundation in teaching, adaptability, and learner engagement. Earning my Master’s in Instructional Design and Development gave me the tools to translate those skills into the corporate space—where I could pair creativity with strategy to design practical learning experiences that stick.
What motivated my move wasn’t a lack of impact, but a desire for new challenges and different ways to apply my skills. I wasn’t interested in moving into school administration, and the corporate world offered variety, collaboration, and opportunities to work across projects and teams. I quickly saw how transferable my teaching strengths were—clear communication, thoughtful design, and the ability to adjust on the fly.
Over time, I’ve built on my teaching background with hands-on roles in instructional design, learning architecture, and consulting. I enjoy rolling up my sleeves to create learning solutions that meet immediate needs, while also keeping an eye on the bigger picture—helping organizations build sustainable strategies for growth.
Looking ahead, I’m focused on staying at the intersection of design and strategy: creating meaningful learning today while shaping the systems and approaches that will drive development tomorrow.
